A Heartfelt Thank You

We extend our deepest thanks to Madlug for their invaluable partnership in the success of The Care Leaders Fellowship's pilot year. Your unwavering belief and support empowered us to deliver a transformative programme, enabling fellows to innovate, initiate impactful projects, and establish businesses addressing social issues for care-experienced individuals.

Your meaningful support not only fuels our fellows' aspirations but significantly contributes to our mission of positive change in children's social care. We're profoundly grateful for your commitment and partnership, making a lasting impact on those we serve.

Special thanks to Madlug founder Dave Linton for continued support as a fellowship facilitator for our 2023/2024 Fellows cohort.

Value, Dignity & Worth

Madlug was founded in 2015 by Dave Linton. A man whose only experience in the luggage industry was bags of enthusiasm. He was heartbroken when he learned that most children in care have their belongings moved in a bin bag.

In that moment, Dave set out to do something about it. With £480, he started Madlug and came up with our ‘Buy one, Wear one, Help one’ approach. With every bag purchased, a pack-away travel bag goes to a child in care.

By April 2024, Madlug will have given 100,000 pack away travel bags to children in care across the UK and Ireland
