How to Apply for The Care Leaders Fellowship.

Criteria to Apply

Criteria
The Care Leaders Fellowship is open to everyone above the age of 18. Our only criterion is that you are working with care-experienced individuals, the services they receive or independently in the care experienced space.
This criterion will be met if you are:

Working directly with care-experienced individuals.

Have an idea about how to improve services for care-experienced individuals.
-
Running a business that offers services within the care experience sector.
-
Leading a project that supports care-experienced individuals or the services they receive.

This is not an exclusive list, if you feel you meet this criteria, please apply.
Person Specification
We are particularly interested in individuals who have new ideas or are working on innovative projects to solve social issues for care-experienced people.
We welcome applications from everyone, therefore we don't have an exact list of who can apply, but we expect to see applications from:

Leaving Care Workers

Children’s Residential Care Staff

The Application Process
What to expect & key dates
Stage 1.
Expression of Interest
Open Now​
​Stage one is your entrance to apply for the programme.
The Expression of Interest outlines the details of the fellowship programme and the commitment we need from you.
By filling in this expression of interest, you confirm that you meet the requirements for the programme and will be sent the application form once it opens.

Stage 2.
Full Application
19th August​ - 11th October
Stage two is to submit a full application. This involves two phases:

Written Application: Tell us about yourself and your reasons for applying.

Video Submission: Submit a video to further elaborate on your motivations and goals.
Both phases are essential for us to understand your fit for the fellowship programme.

Stage 3.
Rolling Interviews
9th September - 18th October​
​
Stage three involves a 45-minute interview, conducted on a rolling basis as applications come in.
The interview will cover your background, your motivations for applying, and how you plan to contribute to and benefit from the fellowship.

Stage 4.
Notification of Acceptance
1st November
If accepted, you will receive detailed information about the next steps to begin your fellowship journey!
